American donuts with chocolate flakes

Ingredients - donuts:

800 gr flour, 300 ml milk, 2 eggs, 100 gr sugar, 100 gr melted butter, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 25 gr fresh yeast;

For dark chocolate icing: 300 gr dark chocolate Dessert D'or, 100 gr sweet cream for whipped cream;

For white chocolate icing: 200 gr white chocolate Dessert D'or, 50 gr sweet cream for whipped cream;

For decoration: melted dark chocolate or colorful Dessert D'or ornaments.

Mix the yeast with two teaspoons of sugar. Add a few tablespoons of milk and a tablespoon of flour and mix until you get a creamy composition. Leave to rise until it doubles in volume. Put the flour in a bowl, add the yeast, the warm milk in which the sugar has melted, the lightly beaten eggs and the vanilla extract. Knead the dough by adding melted butter. Leave to rise until it doubles in volume.

The leavened dough is spread on a not very thick sheet. Using a glass, cut circles out of the dough, and then a small circle in the middle. Leave to rise for about 30 minutes, and then fry the donuts in a hot oil bath.

Put the liquid cream together with the chocolate in a bowl, over low heat and mix until smooth. Put the chocolate in a large bowl and dip each donut in chocolate, then place on a plate.

While the glaze is not yet melted, Dessert D'or ornaments of various colors can be sprinkled.
